It’s an honour to see our insights contribute to such an influential discussion on the future of energy-efficient living in the UK. Barclays is demonstrating a clear commitment to driving the energy transition in homes. Their initiatives are setting a benchmark for the financial sector’s role in supporting sustainability: - **Green Home Mortgage:** Offering reduced rates to buyers of new-build properties with an EPC rating of A or B, incentivizing energy-efficient homes. - **Greener Home Reward:** Providing up to £2,000 to Barclays residential mortgage customers who install eligible energy efficiency upgrades, such as solar panels, insulation, or heat pumps. - **Generation Partnership:** Addressing skills shortages in the green energy sector by supporting training and development for installers. - **Additional Schemes:** Including various programs aimed at accelerating the adoption of sustainable home energy solutions.  We applaud Barclays for taking such proactive and progressive steps to support homeowners, installers, and the broader transition to a low-carbon future.
